Bad grades won’t matter if your talent is good enough
Yes, teams want talented players. But is that enough to get you recruited? Well talent is half the battle. I played college basketball and when the season started, we were amazing! Mid-season, when grades came out, we lost half the team. Wow, were we B-A-D. Never mind being competitive, we didn’t even belong in the same building as some of the teams we played. Coaches don’t enjoy those situations. They need to know that academically you can get into the school and that you remain eligible to play. So this myth, doesn’t score.
